RTL 7 - Prautotype
Project: Car development in 100 days!
Modesi is involved with the development of the concept cars presented during the RTL7 television show "Prautotype". During 100 days the design of a complete new car was presented at the AutoRAI 2007. The design is completely dutch, from exterior to driveline. In this short time frame it is shown that it is possible to develop and built a car in the Netherlands.

During the first season a concept car has been developed and built based upon the maritime history of Holland. The design is by Marcel Bastiaans. Modesi was responsible for the translation of the 2D sketches to a 3D CAD model. The aerodynamics was also investigated by Modesi. The aerodynamics was investigated both in a wind tunnel of NLR and by means of CFD calculations.
